LUSH Social Stunt!

amazing!

Jacqueline Traide a 24 year old actress was tortured, restrained and force fed in a protest against animal testing. Jacqueline endured 10 hours of experiments which included having her hair shaved and irritants squirted into her eyes - you go girl! This stunt took place at Lush regents Street store, one of the UK's busiest high streets - it was all part of a campaign by Lush and the Humane Society protesting against animal testing. Reporters explained how Jaqueline appeared genuinely terrified as she was pinned down on a bench and had her mouth stretched open with two metal hooks while a man in a white coat force-fed her until she choked and gagged. The artist was also injected with numerous needles, had her skin braised and lotions and creams smeared across her face. Passers-by were gobsmacked to see Jacqueline, a social sculpture student at Oxford Brookes University, forced to have a section of her head shaved.

I personally love social stunts I think they are so effective and have such a big impact on their audience! It definitely made me think about the cosmetics I buy!
